Hello, I'm Officer Tracy Bloss.

I've been with Grove Police Department since 1994. Before that, I was in law enforcement with West Siloam Springs Police Department, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department in Tahlequah and the Campus Police at Northeastern State University. It is my privilege to be serving as Grove's School Resource and D.A.R.E. Officer. Some of you may remember that I was the D.A.R.E. Officer for Grove Public Schools from 1996-1999. After that, I changed positions in the department and my good buddy, Officer Ed Kraft became the SRO/DARE Officer. It is my honor to follow in Ed's footsteps and I greatly miss him. Ed had a positive impact upon the students and faculty at Grove. It is my hope and desire to continue working to serve as a liaison between the police department, the school system and our community.

During the upcoming school year, I will be working closely with our school system in two capacities. First, I will be teaching the D.A.R.E. curriculum and similar prevention programs to the student body. Secondly, I will serve as an enforcement officer for truancy, illegal substances, traffic and other safety related issues.

Please know that I am very interested in the faculty and students' thoughts and concerns. You may contact me directly at the Grove Police Department 786-6121 or can email me at tbloss@ridgerunners.net .

I look forward to meeting new faces this year. I believe that by working together, we can continue to improve our school campus' and the community of Grove.
