District Webmaster: Mike Huggins
Mr. Huggins 3rd and 7th Hours Website Development and Dreamweaver classes are the main content managers and editors for the district website.

It is our vision to have a website that is clean, fast, easy to navigate, full of useful information and something that we can all be proud to claim. Our previous website last year was slower and had serious navigation issues, not to mention content was always out of date. The flaw was partially due to lack of software licenses available. This year I moved into HS Computer Lab B102 where all the computers were loaded with Dreamweaver software on all 23 of the workstations. It took a little while for all of us to build the new site with those goals in mind but we can more easily manage the site.
Ridgerunners.net is a big website. It is really 8 sub websites that all match in design and navigation structure. The whole site currently contains over 250 pages.
We have much work to be done on the site as we continue to add content and begin installing Macromedia Contribute on District Computers of faculty who wish to be able to directly make site page changes. This software is very easy to learn, it is easier to operate than Microsoft word with just a 5 minute lesson for most. The software takes about 15 minutes to install, a few minutes to import a connection key. With a five minute lesson you can get up and running in about 30 minutes and zero dollars. Send me a email or instant to request an appointment after school when I get off my bus route. We need from about 4:30 to 5pm to get you hooked up.
