My name is De Manning and this is my 16th year working at Grove Public Schools. I completed my education in December of 1990 when I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri Southern State College. Additionally, I completed several graduated hours in Early Childhood Education at Northeastern Oklahoma State University. My career started at Grove Public Schools in the fall of 1992 when I was hired to teach kindergarten. I spent the next 13 years as a classroom teacher. In 2005 I became the Computer Teacher at the Lower Elementary. Currently, I am the Physical Education and Computer Teacher for Early Childhood Center. In addition to my regular duties, I also provide computer tech support. I have been married for 27 years to my husband, David. He is currently the Support Services Coordinator for McKee Foods Corporation at Gentry, AR where he has worked for nearly 20 years. We have three children, two of which are still in college. Our oldest daughter, Kayla, is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Our son, Jeremy, is in the fourth year at the University of Arkansas and is working on his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Our youngest daughter, Karissa, is in her Bachelors in Public Relations. I currently teach computers and conduct physical education classes for approximately 300 pre-school and kindergarten students.
