Education: I graduated from High school in Welch Ok. I then attended NEO for 1 1/2 yrs. I transfered to NSU in Tahlequah were I fraduated with my Bachelors in Early Childhood.

Career History: I was a substitute teacher for GPS for 3 yrs. I then was the Librarian for the Elemintary for 1 year. I then taught Kindergarten for 7 yrs and I am now in my second year as a Pre-K teacher.

Family: I have been married for 18 yrs to Donny. We have three children- Toby 7 yrs , Myah 5yrs, and Trey 3 yrs.

Teaching 4 year olds........: It is exciting, rewarding, and entertaining. I love teaching Pre-K! We do everything --we sing, dance, read, write, paint, cook, play, laugh, and learn.

Classes taught: I teach all subject areass through thematic units.

Skills learned: Fine motor-writing, cutting, drawing ect... Large motor-hopping, catching, throwing, running ect... Letter, number, color, and shape recognition. Letter sounds, patterning and counting.

Teaching Method: We learn by doing hands on activities. that means we learn by playing, singing and being read to.

Class Rules: Keep hand, feet, and objects to yourself. Listen to the teachers. Be respectful, share and care for others.

Resources: The best resource for 4 and 5 year olds are their parents. Spend time with them, read to them, count with them--Just be there!!
