Hello, my name is Brook Loftis. I teach Kindergarten at the Grove Early Childhood Center. This is my fifth year to teach, and it is my fourth year at Grove. I spent my first year of teaching at Oaks-Mission Public Schools in second grade. I then was fortunate enough to receive a job with Grove Public Schools. My first two years at Grove I taught 3rd grade. I then decided to move to Kindergarten, which was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I absolutely love Kindergarten!!
I graduated from Quapaw High School and then attended NEO A&M College in Miami, OK where I received an Associate of Arts degree. I then completed my degree at Northeastern State University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I also hold a Master of Science degree from Pittsburg State University. I am certified to teach Pre-K – 8th grade in Oklahoma Kansas and Missouri. I am also certified to be a Library Media Specialist in the states of Oklahoma and Kansas.
My husband, James and I have been married for 6 years. He has been a State Trooper for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for 8 years. We have a little girl, Karly, who is 2 years old and we will be adding baby brother, Jase, to our household in March. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with Karly, reading, and shopping!! |
