  • SCHOOLS OUT OCT 18/19 FOR FALL BREAK & NETWORK TO BE DOWN:
    • Thur., Oct. 18, maintenance will be done on the server and will be back up and running on Fri., Oct. 19. Of course we won’tbe here unless you just happen to come up and work on your day off.
  • HS GYM CLOSED:
    • Oct. 18-21 the HS gym will be closed to resurface the floor. Please do not schedule any events or practices during this time. Thank you
  • PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE:
    • AS PER LAST WEEKS E-MAIL FROM MRS. DOZIER…
    • Call the parents of all your advisees and invite them to Parent Teacher Conference.
    • The conferences will be held Oct. 25 from 4-7 p.m. and Oct. 26 from 8 am-12 noon in the Commons Area.  
  • FLU SHOTS:
    • Nov. 8, Flu shots will be given for Faculty, Staff and family members. Shots will be given 9:00/11:30 @ the MS with Nurse Terri and 12:30/3:00 at the Lower Elementary with Nurse Janet.
    • Sign up with Gail Bates by Friday, Nov. 2.
  • RAP MEETING: WED., OCT. 17, 10:45/11:30 – WE WILL BE ON THE ACTIVITIY BELL
  • FACULTY:
    • A list of students absent during this week for PSAT and Band is at the end of this weeks bulletin. Please review the list for PSAT and announce the instruction they are to follow, it will also be posted with the bulletin on the student center window.
    • Please keep in mind when sending students to make copies they are to go to the “TEACHERS WORKROOM” not the HS Office or Counselors Office. Thank you.
    • American Fidelity Reps will be in the Library Conference Room on Oct. 25 & 26. Everyone must go by and sign.
    • Don’t forget the NOVEMBER 1 st DEADLINE for GEFFE Grant Application.
    • URGENT!!!! HOMEBOUND TEACHERS NEEDED. CONTACT LOU IN THE SPECIAL SERVICE OFFICE.
  • MEETINGS:
    • 1 st National Student Bank Board – October meeting has been changed from Oct., 18 to Oct. 25. Group picture will be taken so all member please attend!
    • KEY CLUB/CHARACTER COUNTS: Tue., Oct. 16, Mrs. Fracek’s room B101 @ 11:45 when students are dismissed for Vo-Tech. Will will be discussing Trick or Treat for UNICEF and activities for Character Counts Week.
     
  • SENIORS:
    • Please go by Mrs. Roberts’ Room – D102 and get your Krispy Kreme Order forms, If you haven’t already done so.
    • Project Graduation will also be sponsoring a Mid-School Halloween Dance and we will need volunteers to work and also bring refreshments. If you have Halloween decorations that we could use for decorating, please bring them to Mrs. Roberts’ room.
    • Next Project Graduation Meeting will be THIS WEDNESDAY, Oct. 17, 5:00 p.m. in the HS CommonsWe need seniors and parents to get involved.
    • Rachel Mastin from Misouri Southern State University will be here Tue., Oct. 16, to meet with the following Srs. in the counseling office: Larissa Cross, Matt Luker, Jennifer Gooding, Lindsay Stewart, Tracie Sconyers, Brooke Seawright
    • A representative from Rogers State University in Claremore will be here Wed., Oct. 24 @ 11:15. Sign up in the counseling office.
  • SR./JR.:
    • Those interested in signing up for the NEO College Fair may sign up in theCounseling office.
  • JUNIORS:
    • If you have not turned in your magazine sales, then you need to turn them into Mrs. Cohea NOW!!!!!
    • Juniors will work the JV Football Concession THIS Monday, Oct. 15 th, @ 5:30 and NEXT MONDAY, Oct. 22 @ 5:30. Those of you who signed up for these dates please be on time.
  • JR.S & SOPH.S:
    • PSAT Test date is THIS WEDNESDAY, Oct. 17 Test is $13. Pay Mrs. DuBois when you sign up.
  • FCCLA:
    • District Meeting will be @ Commerce on Tue., Oct. 29 . $3.00 per person. Mrs. Crawford and Mrs. Cookson MUST know if you’re going by WED., OCT. 24.
  • HAT DAY:
    • November 2, This is the Special Olympic Fund Raiser. For $1.00 you will be allowed to wear a hat on Friday, Nov. 2. The hat must be school appropriate. Tickets will go on sale Tues, Oct. 30.
  • MOCK TRIAL WORKSHOP: Tues., Oct. 16, OKC – LV @ 5:15 – RT @ 4:30
  • BAND:
    • Excused all day Monday, Oct. 15 for Regional Marching Contest Rehearsal @ Broken Arrow And Wednesday, Oct. 18 for Regional marching Contest @ Skiatook. Good Luck Band!

  • ULTIMATE RIDGERUNNER FAN GEAR!!!:
    • The 9 th Grade Cheerleaders are selling chances to Win a stadium seat/cooler filled with all sorts of Ridgerunner Gear such as Red/White Car Chalk, license plates, hats, blanket, rug, t-shirts, 2 candy bouquets, hot drink mixes, teddy bear w/Grove dog tags, drink Koozie, Grove Thermos and many more items. Please see a Freshmen Cheerleader or Jenny in the Counselor’s office. Gear will be drawn for during half-time of the varsity game on Friday, Oct. 26.
  • CONGRATULATIONS:
    • To the GHS Marching Ridgerunner Band for placing 1 st in prelims and qualifying for finals at the Pryor Invitational marching Contest on Saturday, Oct. 6. The GHS Band qualified by making finals and placing overall 10 th of 20 bands! The GHS Guard and Percussion section also placed first in the prelims. We are proud of you!
    • To the Grove FFA Livestock Judging Team for placing 5 th, the FFA Cattle Grading Team for placing 6 th out of 80 teams, also the 6 th place finish of the Dairy Judging Team,And Dalton D. for his second high individual placing.
