    • RECYCLE BENS NEED TO BE AT THE END OF HALL A/B BEFORE 10:00 A.M. ON MONDAY, DEC. 17. IF THE WEATHER IS BAD THEY WILL BE HERE ON TUESDAY, DEC. 18. THANK YOU MEETINGS: Due to the Semester Tests this week the Hospital Board will not meet on

    Thursday, Dec. 20. They will try to have two meetings in January.

  • SCHEDULE CHANGES: The counseling office will be changing schedules for next semester. If you would Like to know your schedule for next semester you may come in before school, at lunch or after school. Please take care of this before Christmas break. Schedule changes will only be allowed Jan. 3,4, & 5. The counseling office will stay open until 6:00 pm on January 5, for schedule changes. After that, there will no none.
  • SCHOOL TO WORK STUDENTS: Your paycheck stubs are due by THIS WEDNESDAY, Dec., 18. Take them to Mrs. Massey in room E106
  • NEW START MAKEOVERS: Character Counts is sponsoring New Start Makeovers for the women who are staying at the domestic violence shelter in Miami. During the month of December, bring any new or partially new: dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, hairbrushes, combs, and makeup to be donated. ½ point will be given for every item you bring. Used cell phones are also being accepted. Be sure to take out your SIM card. Cell phones are then programmed to only phone the police department and are given to the women who leave the shelter. Please bring all donations to the counseling office and make sure it’s documented how much you brought so your points are accurately reflected on your transcript. Let’s all work together to help give these women a new start!!!
 

STUDENTS: Those who signed up to take proficiency exams need to come to the counseling Office and complete the form to take the tests. Tests will be given during semester Test days Wed., Dec. 19 & Thur., Dec. 20.

 
  • JUNIORS: Sign up in E103 (Mrs. Cohea’s room) to work the basketball concessions.
    • Juniors need to sign up for games through Dec. 20.
    • Remember to check with Mrs. Cohea for any future fundraisers and to see how you can Help.

  • FRESHMEN: Sign up in E104 (Mrs. Hilliard) to work the wrestling concessions.
    • Freshmen need to sign up for Jan. 8.
    • YES! Cookie Dough will be delivered on Monday, Dec. 17, for those who had orders. Please be prepared to pick it up at the end of 7 th hour or after school.

  • GIRLS 7 TH HR. ATHLETICS: If there are any girls (9-1) planning to be enrolled in 7 th hr. Athletics and play HS soccer next semester that are not currently enrolled in 7 th hr. off-season this semester, please let Kamie S. know. We need a head count in order to order equipment
  • BASKETBALL T-SHIRT ORDERS: Juniors are selling basketball T-shirts on Friday, November 30 th. T-Shirts cost $12.00 for Youth Medium and Large, & Adult Small thru Extra Large. XXLarge will cost $13.00. Place your order in the commons in mornings, during both lunches, or after school with Mrs. Cohea in room E103.
