    • Call the parents of all your advisees and invite them to Parent Teacher Conference. The conferences will be held Oct. 25 from 4-7 p.m. and Oct. 26 from 8 am-12 noon in the Commons Area.           
  • FLU SHOTS: 
    • Nov. 8,  Flu shots will be given for Faculty, Staff and family members.  Shots will be given 9:00/11:30 @ the MS with Nurse Terri and 12:30/3:00 at the Lower Elementary with Nurse Janet. 
    • Sign up with Gail Bates by Friday, Nov. 2.
  • RECYCLE BINS:   
    • Please have all recycle bins at the end of the Social Studies Hall by 10:00 on Tue., Oct. 23.

    • District Meeting will be @ Commerce on Tue., Oct. 29.  $3.00 per person.  Mrs. Crawford and Mrs. Cookson MUST know if you’re going by WED., OCT. 24.
  • HAT DAY:
    • November 2,  This is the Special Olympic Fund Raiser.  For $1.00 you will be allowed to wear a hat on Friday, Nov. 2.  The hat must be school appropriate.  Tickets will go on sale Tues, Oct. 30.

  • ULTIMATE RIDGERUNNER FAN GEAR!!!: 
    • The 9th Grade Cheerleaders are selling chances to Win a stadium seat/cooler filled with all sorts of Ridgerunner Gear such as Red/White Car Chalk, license plates, hats, blanket, rug, t-shirts, 2 candy bouquets, hot drink mixes, teddy bear w/Grove dog tags, drink Koozie, Grove Thermos and many more items.  Please see a Freshmen Cheerleader or Jenny in the Counselor’s office.  Gear will be drawn for during half-time of the varsity game on Friday, Oct. 26.
  • CONGRATULATIONS: 
    • To the Grove High School Marching Ridgerunner Band for placing 1st in Class 3A at the Huntsville, Arkansas 3 State Marching Contest on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2007.  In Addition the Pride of Grove won the best Percussion Line in class 3A, Best in Music, and Best High General Effect in Prelims.  Grove was included in the finals and finished overall 2nd place in all classes combined.  This years show there is “West Side Story” including tunes America/Tonight, Cool/Maria, and Jett Song.  The Percussion coordinator is Jeremy Castaldo. The band is directed by Mr. Joe Wilhelm and Mr. Ray Nimmo.
    • On Friday, Oct. 26, the GHS Band will present the annual Lights Out show during Half-Time.
