My name is April Jones. I'm a PARA/Teacher Assistant. I'm an Oklahoma native. I was born in 1975 in Tulsa, Ok. I have lived in the Green Country area all my life. I'm a Jay High School graduate. And yes, I was a pupil of Mrs. Harper. I'm a mother of four wonderful children J.J. age 12, Caleb age 8, Alisha age 7, and Lizzie age 4. My wonderful husband, Bill, and I have been married 9 years. I was a stay-at-home mom for four years after my husband and I married. I began as a colunteer at Grove Lower Elementary when my son Caleb was four. I was then asked to substitute. After substituting for a year, I was hired during the 05-06 school year. I have enjoyed my job here at Grove Public Schools. The children here have taught me so much. they have inspired me to return to college and finish my education. In the near future, I hope to obtain a degree in Special Education.
