On March 24th, several years ago, I was born to Don and Betty Boyett in Stella, Mo. I have an older sister Kathy Downing and a younger brother Kelly Boyett. Shortly after my birth my dad took the Vocational Agriculture job at Grove Public Schools. I attended GPS for 12 years enjoying my education, playing basketball, and working with my FFA projects.

After graduation I attended SWOSU in Weatherford, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. While attend SWOSU, I met my husband Todd, who teaches and coaches at Grove Middle School. After college we were fortunate to both get teaching jobs at Grove. I taught first grade for six years and the wonderful opportunity came for me to move into the library position.

I started back to college at NSU and graduated with my Masters in Library Media. I have been the librarian at the Lower Elementary for six years and love every second. The library is a great place to share the importance of reading with children. Starting children off with the love of reading can influence the rest of their life.

Todd and I have three lovely children, Kelsey 15, Levi 13, and Lacy 8. Our children are very active in athletics and spending time with our puppies. We also enjoy spending time with friends and family and attending the Church of the Shepard.
