Mrs. Julie Green grew up in Grove and graduated in 1987. After graduating she attended Norhteastern A&M College in Miami. While attending NEO she met her husband Kevin and they were married in 1989. Mrs. Green then transferred to Northeastern State University where she recieved a degree in education. After graduating from NSU Mrs. Green and her husband moved back to Grove where sh began teaching 2nd grade in 1992. She taught 2nd grade for 7 years before becoming the Pre-K through 3rd grade Art teacher. Mrs. Green taught Art for 3 years and then returned to 2nd grade in 2002. While teaching Art, Mrs. Green and friend Charlene Carter hosted Staff Development Workshops for area schools. Mrs. Green is a current member of the Grove Classroom Teachers Association, Oklahoma Education Association, and the National Education Association. Mrs. Green and her husband have two daughters. Sara, who is 14 and Katie, who is 11. Mrs. Green and her husband stay very busy traveling to softball and basketball practices and games. The family also enjoys spending time at the barn where their children keep their 4-H calf projects. The family also enjoys swimming, boating, and riding their 4-wheelers. Mrs. Green loves meeting her new students and parents each year. She also welcomes parents to help out in her classroom anytime.
