My name is Mrs. Mantle, and I am a 3rd grade teacher here at Grove Lower Elementary.  I have lived in Arizona, Missouri and Oklahoma.  I graduated from Cordell High School in Cordell, OK.  I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading.  I also hold certification in Early Childhood.  I am certified and have taught in both Oklahoma and Texas.  I have taught Pre-K, K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and Title 1 Reading.  This is my fifth year to teach 3rd grade.  This is my 19th year in the teaching profession.  I am married for 19 years to a wonderful man, Garrette, and we have 2 very special sons, Matthew 9 and Skyler 3.  I love spending time with my family, reading good books and going to the beach

• HOMEWORK
  • Homework may be sent home as needed throughout the year. Every child is required to read nightly. Please encourage your child to focus and work hard during class time to get class work finished. This will minimize homework quantity.
