My name is Renee’ Veater and I am a P.E. teacher at the GLE. I’m 52 years old, and I have 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and a precious 18 month-old granddaughter. My 2 oldest girls are teaching and/or coaching, and my youngest daughter is a sophomore in college on a cross-country and basketball scholarship. I’m married to a wonderful man who has 3 grown children and a granddaughter of his own. I’ve been teaching and/or coaching for 30 years. My last 20 years have been here at Grove. I’ve taught 2 years of 4th grade here, 12 years of the 5th grade Social Studies, and for the past 8 years I’ve been teaching P.E. on the Kindergarten though 3rd grade level. I love children and I have always enjoyed teaching, but I really love teaching P.E. I have a wonderful P.E. aide, Sarah Sanny, who is a joy to work with. Together, we strive to stress good sportsmanship, character, and physical activity through various sports and games that we play. We try to make each P.E. class as fun and as positive an experience as possible. I love it here and would not wish to be anywhere else!
Our P.E. rules and expectations are as follows:
