I graduated from Lone Grove High School in Lone Grove, Oklahoma in 2002. I then played four years of college softball, graduating from Lee University a private Christian University in Cleveland, TN. I graduated December of 2006. I have a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Theology. I am certified to teach Health and Wellness, and Physical Education K-12. I am a first year teacher. My first year to be a Head Coach. I was the grad-assistant coach at the university I played for, and also have coached travel teams. My Mom and Dad have been married for 29 years, and continue to show me how a marriage should work. We are a very tight knit family. They have provided me with everything, but the most important thing they provided me with is Love, and their full attention!! My Dad is a production foreman for an Oil Company, and My Mom is an accountant. I also have an 8 year old little sister who is truly the light of my life. She means the world me. She plays softball, basketball, is a member of Lone Grove Elem. Jump and Jive and also enjoys to do tumbling. Softball is my passion, it’s what I love to do. So it is only natural that Coaching would be a good fit for me, however my other passion is people. I love helping people get better at something. I love kids and enjoy being around them. Teaching is a lot of fun, and I think I learn just as much from the kids as they learn from me. I love being in the classroom and helping them learn more about their health, physically, mentally, and socially. I Coach High School Softball, and am the assistant for the 7th grade basketball team. I teach two hours of health and wellness, and competitive athletics, and physical education. They are all a lot of fun, and I look forward to each day I get to spend here at Grove. Kids will learn in my Health Classes: about their physical, mental, and social health. They will also learn about diseases, food guide pyramid, eating disorders, alcohol, drugs, all things that are affecting our kids today. I am a very hands on teacher. I go back and forth between lecture and group activities. They will also watch videos occasionally. I am fully aware that kids do not learn the same, and try to do something for everyone so they get the most out of my class.
Parent’s involvement in their child’s education is so important. If there is anything that I can do for one of your children please do not hesitate to email me or call me. |
