Truth & Consequences

Truth and Consequences, a human growth and development program sponsored by Grove Integris Hospital, will be held October 16 & 17 for all of Grove Middle School.

This will be a two part session (with males and females at separate times). This will include a slide show and a presentation by Dr. Anderson and Judge Denney. Topics will include influences and pressure, myths, and consequences of becoming sexually active.

Permission slips to attend this presentation will be sent out the beginning of October and must be signed by the parent in order to attend. Please contact the school if you do not recieve a form and wish for your child to attend.

Respect

People are not things, and everyone has a right to be treated with dignity. We certainly have no ethical duty to hold all people in high esteem, but we should treat everyone with respect, regardless of who they are and what they have done. We have a re- sponsibility to be the best we can be in all situations, even when dealing with unpleasent people. The Golden Rule- do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
