Proficiency Based Promotion
Pursuant to Section 6 of HB 1017, students may progress in their educational endeavors by subject, course, and/or grade level based on mastery of the Oklahoma Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS), not upon time spent in classes, completion of assignments, or prerequisites. Proficiency Based Testing will be offered during two sessions:
Session I
Grades through 3 May 30, 2012 Grove Lower Elementary
Grades 4 through 8 June 1, 2012 Grove Middle School
Grades 9 through 12 June 4, 2012 Grove High School
Session II
Grades through 3 July 31, 2012 Grove Lower Elementary
Grades 4 through 8 August 1, 2012 Grove Middle School
Grades 9 through 12 August 2, 2012 Grove High School
Parents will be required to remain on-site while student is testing. Completed applications are due May 29 for session I and July 30 for session II.
