Welcome to Grove High School’s website!

Grove High School is a class 5A comprehensive high school of approximately 750 students.   We have an extraordinary academic program of required and elective courses.  These courses are taught by 42 highly trained and motivated teachers, committed to their areas of study and to the students they teach.  We offer Advanced Placement classes as well as concurrent enrollment classes through NEO.  Students also have the opportunity to take AP Physics and Calculus at Oklahoma School of Science and Math, in Afton at Northeast Oklahoma Career Tech Center.  These courses offer students opportunities to stretch their minds through new, innovative, and advanced course work, as well as the opportunity to earn college credit for their year's work.

In addition to the academic program, Grove High School offers a varied program of academic/extra-curricular clubs and competition.  We offer sweepstakes-winning vocal and instrumental music activities/competitions, Agricultural Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, speech/drama, Robotics, and Independent Science Research.  We have outstanding athletic teams with sports activities for all seasons and a host of other clubs and activities to provide nearly every student with additional areas of interest and involvement.  Our programs have won many times on State and National levels.

Grove High School has been a North Central Accredited High School for 58 years.  In doing so, GHS exceeds the high standards of this organization in every area.  We must have parental involvement and student success to continue this tradition.  Grove High School encourages every student to attend school daily until completion of their graduation requirements and strongly believe that parent involvement is crucial to meeting this goal.  It is our goal that every student entering our doors obtains a high quality education and be well prepared for whatever field or endeavor he or she chooses.
Go Ridgerunners!
