The Lower Elementary has undergone many changes over the summer. The new classrooms, cafeteria, office area, and hallways make our site look like a new school! I would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to the parents, grandparents and patrons of the community who worked hard to pass the bond making all of the additions and renovation possible. These changes will aid in our effort to instill “Ridgerunner Pride” in our students.
The student population at the Lower Elementary is currently 573. We have 35 highly qualified, certified faculty members and 27 experienced, caring support staff.
The faculty and staff at Grove Lower Elementary collaborate to set high goals and expectations for our students. They motivate and inspire each child to reach those goals and expectations. They create a learning environment where students become critical thinkers, effective communicators, problem solvers, and independent learners while maintaining respect for themselves and others.
The parental and community support that our site receives is outstanding. It is a major factor on academic success. Our site has an overall API of 1239. With your help and support we will continue to increase that score. If you have any extra time and would like to volunteer, please call, come by the office, or visit with your child’s teacher to arrange a time that best fits your schedule.
