The school year is quickly coming to and end and May appears to be a very busy month with many activities. I have enjoyed having your children this year and would like to wish all the 5th graders good luck on their next journey.

Mrs. Woods (5th grade teacher) had an idea to have her science classes participate in a landscaping project for our school campus. Students volunteered to bring something they would like to plant and then they spent a couple of days digging, planting, and working extremely hard. They never stopped until the project was finished. It looks fantastic! Mrs. Woods and Mrs. Hill did the hard labor. LeAnn Grimes and Theresa Dillinger delivered many shrubs and plants the hospital donated. Once again, THANK YOU to anyone who helped with that project.
PROFICIENCY BASED TESTING
Testing will be offered at Grove Upper Elementary May 12-16. Please call 786-2297 and schedule a testing time with the school counselor. Questions about proficiency based testing please contact Kelly Trumbull 786-4418.
