Transfer Student Information

With the enactment of Senate Bill 783 (2021), the Legislature made comprehensive reforms to Oklahoma’s school transfer laws, namely revising the requirements for accepting and denying student transfers and requiring school districts to set and list enrollment capacities on their websites.

This information is effective as of January 1, 2022.
Students not residing in the Grove Public School District must apply for a transfer.  We have two options for submitting an application for transfer.
1.  You can complete the application through the Student Transfer Application on the Oklahoma State Department of Education website. The application can be found online here: sde.ok.gov/student-transfers . This will automatically put your student in the queue for a decision to be made in regards to their student transfer application.
2.  You can complete this form and hand-deliver it to Mrs. Gayle Cannon at the GPS Administration Building (310 S. Broadway), where it will be time and date stamped.
Either option will place the student in line to be considered for acceptance into Grove Public Schools.
