Important Safety Update from Grove Public Schools
This morning, Grove Middle School administrators were made aware of a potential threat to the campus. The situation was addressed immediately. As a precautionary measure, the middle school and surrounding buildings were put into lock down. Upon investigation, a student was found to be in possession of a BB gun. We want to assure parents and the community that all students and staff are safe. The lockdown has been lifted, and normal school operations have resumed. We appreciate the swift response of our school staff and local law enforcement in ensuring the safety of our students. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pat Dodson, Superintendent. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

All GPS sites will be accepting Valentine deliveries this year! Deliveries will NOT be allowed in buses. If your child receives a delivery at school, you will need to make arrangements to pick up the delivery from the school. This is for the safety and comfort of our students and bus drivers. The faculty, staff, and students at GMS are incredibly grateful for our school counselors, Mrs. Tonya Goldner and Mrs. Debi Robbins. This appreciation is especially highlighted during National School Counselors Week. These remarkable individuals go above and beyond every day for GMS, and we are truly thankful for their efforts. They play essential roles in various areas including enrollment, guidance, fostering school culture, ICAP, Red Ribbon Week, site and district testing, career exploration, and much more. Thank you for all that you do, ladies!
