🇬🇷 GHS International Club is on its way to Greece! ✈️ Their first stop before their group dinner with three other schools across the USA is a refreshing swim or a peaceful walk along the shore near Glyfada, a vibrant area full of cafes, restaurants, and shops. Students receiving high school credit for this tour have come up with some amazing essential questions to explore while on tour. #notallclassroomshavefourwalls

With all the rain we have experienced this summer, now is a great time to share one of the hands on projects Mrs. Woods's geography classes completed this spring. Geography students at GMS explored natural disasters, including tornadoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, typhoons, and earthquakes. Given popsicle sticks and various adhesives like Elmer's glue, hot glue, and tape, students designed and constructed structures to withstand simulated natural disasters, demonstrating exceptional critical thinking skills and teamwork. Great job, 7th graders and Mrs. Woods!!

Dear Students, Parents, Teachers, and Members of the Grove Community, As we approach the 4th of July, we come together to honor the courage, vision, and sacrifices of those who fought to secure the freedoms we cherish today. This special occasion is not only a time to reflect on our nation's rich history, but also to celebrate the values of unity, courage, and resilience that continue to shape our future. At Grove Public Schools, we believe that education plays a vital role in strengthening the principles of liberty, freedom, and justice. This Independence Day, we encourage our students to appreciate the rights and responsibilities that come with freedom and to express their patriotism through learning, service, and respect for others. Let us honor our heritage and strive together to build a more united and vibrant future for all. Wishing you and your families a safe and joyful Independence Day! Warm regards, Pat Dodson Superintendent Grove Public Schools

Not only was GPS Federal Programs director, Cindy Weaver, recently recognized as the Region 6 Central Office Administrator of the Year, but she was also recognized as a Difference Maker for the Federal Programs Consortiums by the Cooperative Council of Oklahoma School Administrators. Mrs. Weaver is a behind the scenes administrator who makes so many programs and initiatives run at GPS! We are proud that she is receiving state wide recognition for her contributions to not only Ridgerunner Nation, but education around the state of Oklahoma! Congratulations Mrs. Weaver!!
