Congratulations to Zoee Robertson for offer at NOC Enid. Grove Athletics and Lady Ridgerunner Basketball are very proud of her.

Congratulations to Ridgerunner XC’s Gunner Cox who finished 14th at the Public Schools State Championships in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Cox was also awarded with Second Team All-State honors. The boys finished in 8th place. Scorers were Cox, Josiah Iliff, Jesse Dautzenberg, Carter Grass and Nash Ferguson. The team runs again on October 6 at the Tiger XC Classic in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Congratulations to Lady Ridgerunner XC’s Locklyn Ward who finished 19th at the Public Schools State Championships in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Ward was also awarded with Second Team All-State honors. The girls finished in 11th place. Scorers were Ward, Remi Tipton, Rylee Rose, Lyna Cohea and Preslee Sprague. The team runs again on October 6 at the Tiger XC Classic in Coweta, Oklahoma.

This group of girls secured a District Championship last week, and are starting their run for a Regional Championship on Monday September 28. Game times are 1 & 5 pm.

Congratulations to 6th Grade Cross Country Teams and medal winners Kane Brodrick, 5th and Eden Chizmar, 11th who competed at the Annual Riley Crofford Cross Country Meet at Lake Tenkiller!

Congratulations to Middle School Ridgerunners XC for a great performance at the Pryor High School Short Track Invite. For the ladies, Peyton Ferguson finished in first place and was MEET CHAMPION. Ayla Crowder also medaled, finishing in fourth place. The boys’ team finished in eighth place. Wonderful job, Ridgerunners! The teams run again on October 6 at the Tiger XC Classic in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Fantastic performance by Ridgerunners XC who finished second at the Pryor High School Short Track XC Invite. The boys posted nine runners in the top thirty, including Gunner Cox who finished in first place and was MEET CHAMPION. Others included Josiah Iliff (4th), Jesse Dautzenberg (12th), Carter Grass (14th), Nash Ferguson (21st), Maddox Hargis (24th), Wyatt Carmichael (25th), Paxton Harjo (26th) and Mikah Watson (30th). Medalists were Cox, Iliff, Dautzenberg and Grass. Great job, gentlemen. The team runs again next weekend on Saturday, September 18, in the Public Schools State Championships at Cottonwood Flats in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

New mile PRs for all the Ridgerunner 6th Grade Cross Country runners at the Tahlequah Meet! Both finishing with 3rd place medals were Kane Brodrick running a 5:36 and Eden Chizmar running a 6:11. The boys team finished 3rd out of 8 and the girls 4th out of 9 with the following contributing to team points: Jude Stice, Kase Phillips, Deegan Shaw, Zane Wilson, Caroline Wall, Kinley Thompson, Collins Looper, Leah Denney.

Cross Country Meet Champions at Cleora! The girls and boys 6th Grade Teams joined forces with the Middle School resulting in 1st place team finishes for both teams! Medal winners: Peyton Ferguson 1st, Ayla Crowder 2nd, Eden Chizmar 3rd, Kane Brodrick 11th, Cooper McElhaney 13th, Camden Sutton 19th. Also contributing to team points: Lylah Morrison, Kinley Thompson, Titan Hudgens, Eli Pick.
