Clarifying Our Partnership with BSN Sports
Grove Public Schools would like to address recent concerns shared on Facebook regarding our contract with BSN SPORTS.
BSN SPORTS, a division of Varsity Brands, is a leading national distributor of athletic apparel and equipment. They are also the exclusive distributor of Nike products in our region.
This partnership is especially important to us because it allows Grove Public Schools to participate in the Nike N7 Initiative—a program dedicated to supporting Native American youth through sport and physical activity. Our district qualifies for this initiative due to our location on native land and our significant enrollment of Native American students.
Through the N7 Initiative, Grove Public Schools receives up to 50% off Nike apparel, uniforms, and footwear. This not only ensures our student-athletes have access to high-quality gear but also allows us to maximize our budget and better serve our students.
To clarify a recent point of confusion: our head football coach did reach out to a local vendor, Sports Locker, to explore options for Nike gear. Unfortunately, they confirmed they cannot provide Nike products, as BSN holds exclusive distribution rights in our area.
Ultimately, our decision to contract with BSN is centered on what’s best for our students—providing them with top-tier Nike athletic gear at a significantly reduced cost, made possible by a program that supports our Native communities.
Thank you for your continued support of Grove Public Schools.

After considering feedback from parents, teachers, and students we have new start times & end times for each building that will be consistent throughout the entire school year! No more changing schedules mid year! We would like to thank our transportation leaders & administrators who brainstormed ideas to make this happen! With the new schedule, buildings also have new times that they will open to receive students. Please do not drop your child off at a school building prior to the doors opening as supervision isn't provided until the building opens.

Lower and ECC doors open at 7:45
We look forward to seeing all of our Ridgerunners in just a few weeks!

Ridgerunners in DC!!! Our own Haley Nelson went to the Washington Leadership Conference this summer! She went in June. She traveled with about 60 other Oklahoma FFA kids on a charter bus; the ride took about 25 hours!! Haley met with hundreds of kids from all over the nation, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico! She learned how to be a leader in the community and a voice for those who need it. Haley received a scholarship from the Oklahoma Farm Bureau to help pay for this amazing trip. She saw many memorials and monuments while in D.C., which proudly commemorate leaders who paved the way for us today!!!

Class of 2026 upcoming Seniors, you will have the opportunity to come to the High School and pick up a printed class schedule on August 7th and 8th from 8 AM to 3 PM. This will give you an opportunity to nail down the classes you need to graduate and maximize your senior year!!
This is for Class of 2026 Seniors only.
Please email Mrs. Clark if you have any questions at jclark@ridgerunners.net.
Huge shoutout to Grove Dry Cleaners!!! Thank you for keeping Ridgy clean!!!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of one of our youngest and most cherished students, Aubree Carlton, a kindergartner in our Early Childhood Center and beloved part of our community.
Her kindergarten teacher poignantly said, “Aubree was everything good and I am so blessed that she was in my life. I will never forget her sweet voice, or the way her face would light up whenever she came into the classroom each day. I will never forget holding her hand walking to the bus every day. Or my favorite part of the day when she’d come in and I’d turn on my mic that connected to her hearing aids–I’d say something to her and she’d instantly turn around and smile at me from wherever she was in the room. She had a smile that you could never forget.”
Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made on her classmates, teachers, and everyone who knew her will be remembered always.
We extend our deepest sympathies and unwavering support to Aubree’s family during this unimaginable time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we stand together as a community to mourn this profound loss.
In the coming days, counselors and support services will be available for students, staff, and families as we navigate this difficult time. Please contact the ECC at 918-786-3003 extension 7 or email dbaker@ridgerunners.net.
Aubree’s spirit will forever remain a part of our school and our hearts. We honor her memory by holding close the love and light she shared so freely.
With sorrow,
Grove Public Schools
