Mrs. Crawford's Culinary Classes 4th and 5th have been working on hot and cold appetizers here at GHS. They are showing off some of their skills!!

GHS will have FAFSA Night assistance during Parent/Teacher Conferences Tuesday, October 14th, in the Cafeteria/Students Center/Commons.

GHS is excited to have our very own Yile and Oyun as the final three families in our "Welcome to America" photo contest. The family with the most 'likes' collectively on the Facebook and Instagram posts will win the contest!! Right now they are in 3rd place. We need all hands on deck to like and share to help them win!

Thanks to Mr. Kreutz, Grove High School Principal, for coming to teach our 6th Grade Life Skills class how to tie a tie! This is part of Mrs, Burrough's unit on professional dress and actions. We appreciate our GPS community that serves all of our buildings to help students succeed!

We want to thank all of our parents and community members who donated to our Spirit Chain Fundraiser! I think we found a new tradition for GUE! Over the course of homecoming week we sold chain links for 25 cents each. Together our students purchased 24,435 chains!!! That brought our grand total raised to $6,108.75!!!! THANK YOU!!

Congratulations to our classroom winners! These classes collected the most money in their grade levels and won a pizza party provided by Local Bank!

The Lower's Book Fair starts tomorrow, October 8th!

Third grade would like to thank Mr. Bandy's and Ms. Sconyer's high school students for teaching them about the monarch butterfly life cycle and migration. The kids loved releasing the butterflies!

GMS P/T Conference forms went home yesterday. Set up your preferred time to meet with/talk to your child's teacher(s) asap! Conferences will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14, 4-7,and Wednesday, Oct. 15, 8-noon.

Upper Elementary recently celebrated Students of the Month for Positive Attitudes! We're so proud of these role models.
