Huge shoutout to Grove Dry Cleaners!!! Thank you for keeping Ridgy clean!!!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of one of our youngest and most cherished students, Aubree Carlton, a kindergartner in our Early Childhood Center and beloved part of our community.
Her kindergarten teacher poignantly said, “Aubree was everything good and I am so blessed that she was in my life. I will never forget her sweet voice, or the way her face would light up whenever she came into the classroom each day. I will never forget holding her hand walking to the bus every day. Or my favorite part of the day when she’d come in and I’d turn on my mic that connected to her hearing aids–I’d say something to her and she’d instantly turn around and smile at me from wherever she was in the room. She had a smile that you could never forget.”
Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made on her classmates, teachers, and everyone who knew her will be remembered always.
We extend our deepest sympathies and unwavering support to Aubree’s family during this unimaginable time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we stand together as a community to mourn this profound loss.
In the coming days, counselors and support services will be available for students, staff, and families as we navigate this difficult time. Please contact the ECC at 918-786-3003 extension 7 or email dbaker@ridgerunners.net.
Aubree’s spirit will forever remain a part of our school and our hearts. We honor her memory by holding close the love and light she shared so freely.
With sorrow,
Grove Public Schools

Students receiving high school credit for this tour have come up with some amazing essential questions to explore while on tour. #notallclassroomshavefourwalls

With all the rain we have experienced this summer, now is a great time to share one of the hands on projects Mrs. Woods's geography classes completed this spring. Geography students at GMS explored natural disasters, including tornadoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, typhoons, and earthquakes. Given popsicle sticks and various adhesives like Elmer's glue, hot glue, and tape, students designed and constructed structures to withstand simulated natural disasters, demonstrating exceptional critical thinking skills and teamwork. Great job, 7th graders and Mrs. Woods!!

Dear Students, Parents, Teachers, and Members of the Grove Community,
As we approach the 4th of July, we come together to honor the courage, vision, and sacrifices of those who fought to secure the freedoms we cherish today. This special occasion is not only a time to reflect on our nation's rich history, but also to celebrate the values of unity, courage, and resilience that continue to shape our future.
At Grove Public Schools, we believe that education plays a vital role in strengthening the principles of liberty, freedom, and justice. This Independence Day, we encourage our students to appreciate the rights and responsibilities that come with freedom and to express their patriotism through learning, service, and respect for others.
Let us honor our heritage and strive together to build a more united and vibrant future for all.
Wishing you and your families a safe and joyful Independence Day!
Warm regards,
Pat Dodson
Superintendent
Grove Public Schools
