GUE had an amazing day today with author Jefferson Knapp! He inspired our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders by sharing the story behind his books, his writing process, and most importantly, the message to never give up on your dreams. Many of our students were excited to purchase his books, which Jefferson graciously signed for them. What a memorable experience for everyone! A huge shout out to our amazing librarian Miranda Ward for finding amazing ways to engage our kids in the experience of reading AND writing!!

From Mrs. Crawford's Hospitality and Tourism Class: On Thursday, September 19th we visited Harbor Village. They were doing multiple demonstrations that day as it was "Pioneer Days". We are so thankful for the anonymous person who sponsored us for the trip. Thank you for your kindness.

Congratulations to Mrs. Smith!!! She was the recipient of the G.O.O.S.E. (get out of school early) Award!!! She went above and beyond to make GHS a better place every day this past week, and we thank her for all that she does!!! Mrs. Smith does too many things to list all of them, but they include teaching AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, Intro to CS, and Robotics. She is also the Robotics Team Sponsor!

Lower Elementary Picture Day!

Mrs. Crouch's 8th grade ELA classes reviewed for their vocabulary test with an old fashioned game of Memory in small groups; then they held a competition to see which group could complete the task first. Students loved this new educational twist on a traditional game! #ridgerunnernation

Thank you for the donation of school supplies BancFirst!! We appreciate the continued support of Grove Public School students!!

Third grade students from GLE visited Har-Ber Village Pioneer Day today. Candle making and corn grinding were just two of the many activities the students enjoyed. #glebettertogether
