Today, our 6th grade Life Skills class, led by Mrs. Burroughs, had a special visitor - none other than our very own Superintendent, Mr. Dodson!
Our students got a taste of some essential life skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom:

🤝 Perfecting a firm handshake
👔 Mastering the art of tying a tie
It's moments like these that remind us how education goes far beyond textbooks. We're preparing our students for success in all aspects of life!

Hello Grove parents! One of our FCCLA students is doing a program to help implement more reading and familial bonding! Bring your children ages 0-7 to the Grove High School black box on Monday, October 21st to hear her presentation, get some free books, snacks, and possibly some prizes!

Fall Break!
6th grade GATE students took their learning to the next level by making rock candy!
Students mixed and heated water and sugar for a hands on learning experience using our Geffe funded Charlie Cart. They learned about how temperature and saturation affect crystallization. Everyone collaborated to measure, mix, and monitor their candy creations!
We want to give a huge shoutout to our community for supporting our educational endeavors! We can't wait to see the final results of our rock candy and continue using the Charlie Cart for future culinary adventures!

Last week, our 4th grade GATE students had an amazing adventure at Bluff Dwellers Cave this week.
The kids explored the fascinating underground world, learning about cave formations, fossils, and even some unique cave life!
A big thank you to Bluff Dwellers Cave for hosting us and providing such an educational experience. We can't wait for our next adventure!

Our 6th graders had a blast participating in the Amazing Race around Grove last week!
They visited various locations to unplug and completed fun tasks at each stop.
A huge shoutout to Kim Hacker and Jenny Brodrick for organizing such a fantastic event! The smiles were contagious, and it was heartwarming to see everyone having so much fun.
