Grove Public Schools mourns the loss of Samie Watson. Mrs. Watson had taught math at Grove Upper Elementary since 2020. Her passion for making math fun, her enthusiasm for helping all students succeed and her fighting spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Ours prayers are with her family, friends, coworkers and students.
The Upper Elementary will be releasing all walkers and car riders at 3:10, instead of 3:25, on Wednesday, August 21st to allow our staff to attend Mrs. Watson's memorial service. Bus riders will be released at normal time.

We had a great first day at GMS and are looking forward to a fantastic year with this amazing group of 7th and 8th graders! Students should have brought home their Student Handbook with a form for you to sign and return in the back. We also wanted to share our bell schedule with you, so you can plan accordingly for any upcoming appointments you may have. It's always a great day to be a ridgerunner!

Grove High School Class of 1979 Reunion
The Class of 1979 alumni will hold a 45th reunion on August 31, 2024, from noon - 3 pm at the Cedar Oaks Clubhouse.
We appreciate your patience during the beginning of school traffic! You can help by not lining up super early to pick up your child. When you line up 30 min- an hour early you end up blocking the traffic flow for other buildings and busses. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Upper Elementary open house will be by appointment for 4th and 5th grade and come and go for 6th grade. 4th and 5th grade teachers will be calling to make appointments next week. We can't wait to see our Ridgerunners!

📋Parents of new students- please bring an updated shot record to the school's office at open house if you didn’t provide one at open enrollment.
🤧Parents of students with allergies- please bring a doctor’s note describing any restrictions to the office during open house.
💊All parents- if your child will be taking a medication at school, has an inhaler or Epipen, we will need you to sign a medication form at open house as well.

📢Attention all parents who have enrolled kindergarten students for the '24/25 school year‼️Please check your actual mailbox (not your email!) for a letter from your child's new teacher! The big reveal for your child's teacher should be delivered to your student sometime next week.📫 Once you receive the letter, you will have a chance to sign up for kindergarten Open House on 8/13.
P.S.- if you do not receive a letter by next Thursday and your child is enrolled, please call the ECC! 💌
