6th grade House Leaders had an exciting time at our House Leader Academy! Students gathered this week to learn and work on leadership skills. A huge thank you to our high school student council members, Will Roberts and Eva Fletcher, who joined us to share their insights on leadership. They inspired our students to embrace their roles as future leaders.
The House System is all about building leaders who can make a difference in our community. We are excited to see our students learning and developing the skills they need to lead with confidence. Let's continue to support and empower our young leaders!

Grove Families: Below is an opportunity for ALL students... not just students in Ottawa County and not solely Miami students...
(from: Whitney McGhee, College Career Coordinator at Miami Public Schools)
On behalf of MPS, I wanted to provide you all with information regarding the 2024 Back to School Resource Fair. It says Ottawa County, but this would be open to any local students and families who want to attend. All services and resources will be free, including back-to-school immunizations provided by the Health Department. The event will be held at the main gym at Miami High School.

The floors of our school buildings take a beating throughout the year! One of the main jobs of our summer custodial crews is to clean, strip down, and wax all the floors in each building. It takes a lot of elbow grease, and we are so thankful for their hard work over the summer to get our schools ready for the new year! A clean shiny hallway gets every educator's heart ready for the new year! Thank you to our summer custodial crews for making our buildings look great!

Will your student be new to Grove Schools for the 2024-25 school year? If so, don't miss new student enrollment! Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, shot records, custody paperwork (if applicable), and a utility bill or rental agreement as proof of residency to complete enrollment. We can't wait to welcome our new Ridgerunners!

The new signage around the buildings on the west campus looks amazing! Thank you to Universal Design for helping us develop a solution and our maintenance crews for installing them!

GPS students and staff recently volunteered at the Grove Rotary Lobsterfest! Ridgerunner football helped cook lobsters, staff members and GHS cheerleaders helped serve, and FROG robotics team members helped with fundraising! It was a great night to give back to the community that is so supportive of our schools. Congratulations on a great night, Grove Rotary!
