Congratulations to Mr. Sadler!!! He was the recipient of the G.O.O.S.E. (get out of school early) Award!!! He went above and beyond to make GHS a better place every day this past week, and we thank him for all that he does!!! Mr. Sadler teaches AP US History, US History, and Current Events! Mr. Sadler is also the coach of the Academic Team!

We are excited to announce that a group of parents has banded together to revitalize a district-wide Grove PTA (parent teacher association)! We would like to invite all Ridgerunner parents to join together on October 7th to elect officers, discuss bylaws, and set a vision for the new organization. GHS senior Lexi Stephen realized she had a kitten under the engine of her car while getting ready to leave for lunch. Thank you to nearby Joe Hudson Collison Center! They volunteered to put Lexi’s car on a lift and save the kitten. The kitten was then adopted by the mechanic who rescued it from the undercarriage of the car!



Today GUE celebrated Back the Blue day for Hometown Heroes Homecoming Week. We all wore blue and recognized our SRO Jimmy Fescine! Thanks for your hard work to keep us safe Officer Fescine!

On September 11th, Grove High School students in US Government & Current Issues classes learned about 9/11 and the heroic efforts of so many people on that fateful day. This past week, students invested time writing thank-you cards expressing gratitude to first responders in our local community for all they do to keep us safe. We are so thankful for all of our first responders who put their lives on the line each and every day to protect our community. We appreciate you!











A message for GHS Students and Parents: The Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, September 27th, 2025. It will be in the Performing Arts Center.


GMS students, start planning those picture day outfits! School pics will be next Tuesday, September 30.
