Book Club students in 4th, 5th and 6th grades have been reading different books written by author Kristen O'Donnell Tubb. All of the books were written about different service dogs. Recently book club members were able to meet with the author virtually. They learned about her writing process and were able to ask her questions. They also learned about the other books Ms. O'Donnell Tubb has written. In addition to their author visit they got to meet some real life service dogs thanks to local trainer Von Jager K9. We love being able to provide memorable learning experiences for our students! Thank you Mrs. Miranda Ward for making these books come to life!

Mrs. Goin's' third grade class won the January Third Grade Reading Challenge at the Lower Elementary. As a class, they read over 950,000 words in January! To celebrate, Dairy Queen surprised the kids with free ice cream cones AND coupons for mini blizzards when they read six more books each. Colonial Day Fun! 📜☕️
5th grade students had a blast at Colonial Day, experiencing life as early settlers. From playing jacks to crafting corn husk dolls, making butter, digging up the past, trying their hand at quill writing, to brewing tea, it was a day filled with hands-on learning and excitement!
