Who needs a day off? About fifteen of the GMS Student Council members traded sleeping in for paint rollers, giving a new teacher’s classroom a colorful fresh start! Mrs. Goldner added some finishing touches and the classroom is warm and welcoming for students to return to tomorrow. Thank you, GMS Stuco!

Upper Elementary says THANK YOU to Josh Gesell and Trench Brother Graphics for donating our staff house shirts!! We are so thankful for our supportive community businesses!! Students will be able to start ordering their new house shirts this week! They will be $12.

GUE welcomed our new Ridgerunners to Grove with a donut social this week! Our hope is to introduce students to returning Ridgerunners and make them feel comfortable in their new school. Thank you to counselor Rachel Davenport and Leadership teacher Jayla Teel and our 6th grade Leadership Class for planning this event!

Congratulations to the GHS Math Department!!! They were the recipients of the G.O.O.S.E. (get out of school early) Award!!! They went above and beyond to make GHS a better place every day last week, and we thank them for all that they do!!! Our Math Department includes (from left to right) Mrs. Petty, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. McCrary, Ms. Johnson, and not pictured are Mrs. Cohea and Mrs. Praytor!

The third grade students in Mrs. Goin's class were so excited to read to the dogs and cats at Second Chance Pet Rescue today. We love Claire's Reading Program!
