We want to thank all of our parents and community members who donated to our Spirit Chain Fundraiser! I think we found a new tradition for GUE! Over the course of homecoming week we sold chain links for 25 cents each. Together our students purchased 24,435 chains!!! That brought our grand total raised to $6,108.75!!!! THANK YOU!!

The Lower's Book Fair starts tomorrow, October 8th!



Third grade would like to thank Mr. Bandy's and Ms. Sconyer's high school students for teaching them about the monarch butterfly life cycle and migration. The kids loved releasing the butterflies!







GMS P/T Conference forms went home yesterday. Set up your preferred time to meet with/talk to your child's teacher(s) asap! Conferences will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14, 4-7,and Wednesday, Oct. 15, 8-noon.

What does the Lower love to do? READ!! Ms. Smith's 3rd grade visited Second Chance Pet Rescue to read to the animals. This is always a favorite activity for our kids.









The Ridgy Store was open and in full swing. We are so proud of the kid's behavior and work to earn Ridgy Tickets. Good behavior pays off! Thank you to our awesome parent volunteers who help keep things running smoothly.









The Lower 1st grade held their annual Johnny Appleseed Parade on Friday. The students walked down to the ECC to show off their Johnny Appleseed hats.
