We are so grateful for Mrs. Goldner, Grove Middle School’s counselor, site testing coordinator, G/T coordinator, and Grove Public School's district testing coordinator. Mrs. Goldner truly goes above and beyond for our students and staff every single day.
From delivering meaningful guidance lessons and supporting student scheduling to playing a key role in our MTSS process, she is essential to fostering a positive, supportive school culture. Outside all of that, she consistently goes above and beyond, always with kindness, patience, and a genuine heart for kids
Thank you, Mrs. Goldner, for all you do to support our Ridgerunners! ❤️👏
Recently, we, the Grove Board of Education, accepted the resignation of Superintendent Pat Dodson, who will step down from his position this summer. To prepare for the transition in leadership, we approved a partnership with the Oklahoma State School Boards Association to assist with the superintendent search. The board will seek a superintendent who will continue Grove’s mission of giving students the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.
As we take this next step for our district, it is vital for us to hear from our district family and community. With your input, we hope to find a superintendent who will be a champion and role model for Grove students and our community.
Parents, students, staff and community members are invited to participate in a brief, online survey beginning Thursday, Feb. 5. Located on the district’s website – ridgerunners.net – the survey will be available until Feb. 19. We look forward to hearing from you!
OSSBA works with other school board associations nationwide to ensure a competitive candidate pool. The non-profit organization has partnered with several Oklahoma school districts of all sizes to perform superintendent searches, including Miami, Broken Arrow and Catoosa. OSSBA assists districts with advertising openings, recruiting potential candidates, furnishing an online application management system, and providing guidance and support throughout the search process.
Please know that throughout every step of the search process, we will be thinking about what is best for our students, our staff and our community. We hope you will take time to participate in the survey, and as always, thank you for your support of the Grove Ridgerunners!
Sincerely,
Members of the Grove Board of Education

If you have a Senior who has not taken the State Administered ACT they will need to make sure they take the State Administered one on April 8th. Please have them talk to their counselor if they think they still need to take the State Administration of the ACT.
Parents of Juniors should also mark those next two Wednesdays on their calendars: 4.15 and 4.22. Those days will be the administrations of the History and Science Exams for Juniors. It is important that all Juniors are present on these days to complete these two graduation requirements.

Grove Upper Elementary is proud to announce our Superintendent's and Principal's Honor Rolls for the fall 2025 semester! Congratulations Ridgerunner Scholars!!

GMS kicked off our Quarter 2 celebration with a Block Party for students who met attendance, grade, and discipline requirements. From quilting and karaoke to badminton, Bingo, and everything in between, students had the chance to relax, have fun with peers and teachers, and enjoy a free bag of popcorn and pop, generously donated by Lake Health and Chiropractic
The celebration wrapped up with an academic pep assembly recognizing students who went above and beyond this quarter in the classroom. Our amazing cheerleaders led the way, and the 8th graders truly shined in the spirit department once again!
A great day celebrating hard work, positive choices, and school spirit!

🎥📰 Field Trip Highlight!
Last Friday, January 16, Mrs. Thomas took her Journalism 2 students and yearbook managers to Joplin, MO, for an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of KSN 16 and KODE 12. Students learned how a news broadcast comes together as they explored areas where producers and staff work to run the show, toured the studio set, and even watched the KSN 16 live newscast.
During a commercial break, the news anchors invited the students to join them on set—and the group had the unforgettable experience of being live on air at the end of the broadcast! This hands-on opportunity gave students a firsthand look at broadcast media and introduced them to a variety of career paths in journalism.
📺✨ What an incredible learning experience!
