GHS 2024 Prom attendees, please review the following information regarding taking pictures at Lendonwood Gardens.
*******************
Each year in April, Lendonwood serves as a beautiful backdrop for prom-day pics of students from area
schools. Grove Senior Prom is coming right up – Saturday, April 27 – and we expect a number of students and
families will visit the garden that afternoon for picture-taking. We look forward to the visits and want to make
the day as safe and enjoyable as possible, while helping us maintain this beautiful garden for just such occasions
as Prom Day Pix. Please help us by spreading the word about the following points.
Parking:
1. There is limited parking, so carpooling is advised.
2. Parking will be managed by Grove Police and Lendonwood volunteers.
3. Parking areas will include the front parking lot, along the driveway just west of the garden fence, and in
a designated area at the end of that western driveway.
4. Please park only in designated areas. Do not park along the east side of the garden near a private
residence.
Traffic:
1. Traffic may be heavy, so visitors should avoid walking along Har-Ber Road.
2. Visitors should watch carefully for Har-Ber Road traffic when leaving the garden area.
Admission Policy:
1. In recognition of the special day, admission will be on a donation basis. Your support will help us
continue this tradition.
2. Donations will be accepted at Welcome Tables at the front and back entrances of the garden.
Photography Sites:
1. Lendonwood volunteers will be available to point out desirable photographic sites in the garden.
2. Garden maps also will be available to help identify good backdrops.
3. Please remain on garden pathways; avoid stepping into flower beds.
Lendonwood exists only through donations and volunteer support. We appreciate your sharing the importance
of the information above.
